He holds a Master degree on Thermal Engineering (1987) and a PhD on Mechanical Engineering (1995) form the same university. He is currently Professor at University of Minho (Portugal). Cristina Engel de Alvarez graduated in Architecture and Urbanism at the University of Vale do Rio dos Sinos in 1987 and holds a Master degree (1996) and PhD (2003) from the University of Sao Paolo. She is currently Professor Titular at the University Federal of Esp�irito Santo (Vitoria, Brasil) and President of the Esp�irito Santo Research and Innovation Foundation. Luisa F. Cabeza graduated in Chemical Engineering (1992) and Industrial Engineering (1993) at Institut Qu�imic de Sarri�a (Universitat Ramon Llull) and holds a Master Degree on industrial management (1995) and a PhD on Industrial Engineering (1996) from the same university. She is currently Full Professor at the University of Lleida (Lleida, Spain).
